Formed in 1969, HLBI ranks in the top 12 international accounting networks, servicing clients through its member firms in over 100 countries who, collectively, have more than 1,720 partners and 13,510 staff in over 450 offices.

The initials ‘HLB’ derive from the names of three early members of the group. Through mergers, all three names have disappeared, and in 1990, Hodgson Landau Brands became ‘HLB International’. HLBI now stands for “Helping Local Business Internationally”.
